Enormities: Not Loving One’s Fellow Muslims

This is the last article in the chapter Probable Enormities from the classical manual on Sharia called Reliance of the Traveller. The articles are posted one by one in the order they are given in the book.


p75.28 The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

“By Him in whose hand is my soul, none of you will enter paradise until you believe, and none of you will believe until you love each other. Shall I not tell you of something which if you do it will create love among you? Increase the custom of greeting each other with ‘as-Saдamu ‘alaykum.’ ” (Kitab al-kaba’ir wa tabyin al-maharim (y36),35-181)
